7 easy steps to booking your perfect Cruise & Maritime holiday
Cruise & Maritime Voyages continues to closely monitor the situation regarding the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and continues to work with The World Health Organisation (WHO), the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO), and international communities and authorities. Although the risk is low, the situation is changing daily. We are continually monitoring and assessing the impact of the latest developments and health advisories, as well as various travel and entry restrictions which are increasingly impacting cruise ship itineraries and connecting travel. We are actively seeking to mitigate these risks to our passengers and crew and are making appropriate adjustments to our operations to protect all onboard our ships.
Heightened precautions have now been imposed in numerous ports of call. As a result of these recently introduced measures, with immediate effect, the following measures have been implemented:
- Pre-boarding screening will be conducted for all passengers, crew and visitors in all embarkation ports with further medical evaluation if necessary.
- As part of these measures, passengers who have travelled from or through mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau within 14 days of embarkation will not be permitted to board to our ships.
- All persons who, within 14 days before embarkation, have had close contact with anyone suspected or diagnosed as having coronavirus, or who is currently subject to health monitoring for possible exposure to coronavirus, will not be permitted to board our ships.
- If a passenger arrives at the ship and shows symptoms of Coronavirus, then they will be refused boarding.
